If you are into outstanding natural beauty then you will absolutely fall in love with Maldives. Just mentioning Maldives takes me back to that amazing honeymoon in that paradise. Well, it was overwhelming as Maldives were like a dream to me. If you know me, you will absolutely know that beach life with all its activities is my thing and what I enjoy the most.
It’s great to know that spending time in nature can actually improve our brain function, help us focus and remember better, keep us fit, reduce stress, and release all of that negative energies caused by the normal life struggles. Time in nature enhances our mental functioning, help us generating ideas and make us HAPPY
Well, I was lucky enough that my husband knew this information and tried his best to make this dream “another dream” that I won’t forget.
Everything I experienced was the first time experience, starting from the seaplane to the surprise that the hotel butler asked us to take our shoes off “I actually was wondering why all the hotel boat crew were shoeless, quite disturbing to me at first, as feeling sands in my feet is not the greatest thing if I’m not directly by the beach”. So they took our shoes and put in a bag that says “no new, no shoes” that’s when I knew there will be no shoes during this trip “hmmmm I was actually excited to dress up at dinner as a newly bride hehe we want to be dressed up most of the time, I guess all brides relates to that” hehe.
Anyway, we arrived everyone .. I mean everyone were incredibly smells amazing and shoeless was the key. The first feeling was awkward, my feet were actually feeling every single thing of that tropical environment but it was more that ok. As we took our tour to the villa just by the beach “still remember hearing that waves sound at night”.
This place is so clean, organic, they serve their food from the garden which you can see from your table and of course all the sea treasures .. that food was incredible “the taste of that sea bass and that rich scallop, light ingredients and strong flavours”. The room itself smelled like nature.. all wood .. TV has no satellite only an iPod with music and movies. So just relax now … I could hardly sleep the first two days thinking what I’m going to do the next day.
No doubt it was amazing the feeling of sands, water and sometimes mud in our feet, not to worry it’s not messy as it sound. It’s really that ultimate connection to the nature. For me it’s a gentle reminder of all the blesses that God provided earth with, a connection with God. This might be a soft reminder of our role to protect this pretty planet with the tiny small things where we are able to.
So talking about spiritual practices will for sure lead me to the spa. I probably won’t find my way to stop. Each and every experience, from the smells, to the music to the magical hands of the practitioners, quite an experience.
The photo below is the Yoga room. This scenery is indescribable. It was also an amazing scenery under the water when I decided to experience diving. “one of my dear friends was constantly describing the first moment of getting into the water with the diving equipment, when that silence dominates and you get that blurry feel of everything”. It was quite dreamy, I did it, but decided not gonna do it again hehe.
This place just took my breath away with the indulgence of the five senses. I found my escape immersion in Six senses resorts. They put a footprint in our hearts and kept us coming back. After all, it’s all about the company, and I’m accompanied by the sweetest.
